Midcentury anthropomorphic form is recognised andA superb early 19th century (might be even earlier) spindle back, panel seated side chair, with turned legs, pad and ball feet, stretchers and a nicely shaped apron to the seat front edge. Made of oak, ash and elm I think. It has a wonderful grain and colour with a rich patina all over. Excellent condition no wobbles, movement or woodworm, very sturdy. Bang on.
