Early 19th century (or earlier) spindle-back side chair. Midcentury anthropomorphic form is recognised andA superb early 19th century (might be even earlier) spindle back, panel seated side chair, with turned legs, pad and ball feet, stretchers and a nicely shaped apron to the seat front edge. Made of oak, ash and elm I think. It has a wonderful grain and colour with a rich patina all over. Excellent condition no wobbles, movement or woodworm, very sturdy. Bang on.
